G&G Armament is launching visually modernized airsoft pistols in the 1911 design.
The first models are the two true-to-scale models designated GX45 MkI and GX45 MkV.
As with the previous pistols, the GX45 GBBs also feature outstanding craftsmanship.
The full-metal design with authentic paint finish makes them appear very true to the original.
Therefore, the well-known special valves and gas filter are also included.
These components reduce the annoying cool down effect, making the G&G pistols more reliable in use.
To ensure safe storage, the GX45 GBBs are also delivered in a molded pistol case.
Crafted from high-quality metal, the GX45 MKV exudes durability and sophistication, ensuring long-lasting performance.
This very beautiful airsoft custom pistol also has a particularly striking overall appearance.
Of particular interest is the metal slide designed by G&G, which features very delicate markings.
To engrave these cleanly and in detail, as well as deeply into the material, the manufacturer uses a new Laser engraving
graphics with millimeter precision and a depth of approximately 0.5 mm into the respective material.
To facilitate the cocking process, slightly angled grooves are also provided in the front and rear areas.
These allow a secure grip on the pistol for the initial cocking.
The slide is beveled on top and makes it easier to insert the pistol into a holster.
The three cut outs in the front area of the slide ensure less gas consumption and an additional improvement in the appearance.
Thanks to the openings, the outer barrel can be seen from the outside.
To make aiming at the target faster, both sights have a white dot background.
In addition, the rear match sight can be adjusted for height and windage.
A so called whirl-cylinder valve reduces dangerous frost formation through a high-speed rotating movement.
The metal gas filter built into the magazine also counteracts a cool-down effect by only allowing pure airsoft gas to pass through.
Liquid gas therefore remains in the magazine.
To protect all components, the valve built into the magazine releases the filled gas down to a certain safety pressure if the
pressure is too high, e.g., due to excessive heat.
Functions in the same way as the original real pistols.
First, insert a loaded magazine, then pull the slide back.
The pistol is now ready to fire.
When the trigger is pulled, the gas blowback firing system moves the metal slide back and forth with each shot, just like a real pistol.
This creates a true-to-life shooting experience, as a metallic sound is heard when firing.
When the magazine is empty, the slide remains at the back, just like a real pistol.
After inserting a new or loaded magazine, the slide stop must be pressed to continue firing.
All functions are available just like on the original pistol.
The slide is disassembled exactly like on real pistols, and the slide stop, magazine release, and palm safety function authentically.
Of particular interest is the G&G Armament developed Hop Up system.
This is easily adjusted using a cartridge style tool at the front of the barrel.
The adjustment range is 120 clicks, allowing for perfect adjustment of the system.
In addition to the wide adjustment range, the external operation, without disassembling the slide, is a major plus and a perfectly
thought out feature for airsoft players.
The replica can be used by both left and right handed users, but, honestly, operation is considerably more comfortable for right handed users.
