F German Market ready airsoft pistol.
This M9 type gas airsoft replica comes in a black box with some red features.
Inside the box you will find the replica and a magazine.
After taking it into ones hand it feels quite heavy.
What is interesting, in terms of weight, this replica does not differ much from the real firearm.
The whole set weighs 915gr, and 655gr without the magazine.
The original Beretta weighs 1160gr and 944gr accordingly.
This model has a matte texture with is pleasant to the touch.
The replica rests firmly in ones hand.
This Beretta M9 type gas airsoft pistol is made completely of metal and uses the popular Tokyo Marui system.
A classic design without any modifications.
All the swithes and buttons, such as the magazine release button or the slide release, are placed on one side
of the gun, while the safety switch is double sided.
The replica looks very good, but it lacks any markings present on the real firearm.
The paint that covers the frame looks good.
Metal sights, in classical design are built into the slide but they arent adjustable.
The pistol grip has plastic panels with an anti-slip texture and the B&W logo.
At the front and back of the grip, on the frame, there are vertical anti-slip grooves.
24bb gas magazine.
The magazine is gas tight, we did not notice any leaks in the magazine nor in the valves.
Thanks to the replica being made in the Tokyo Marui standard, getting a spare magazine will not be a problem.
One must just look for one with the compatible release valve.
Replicas disassembly:
the first step in disassembling the replica is similar to the one made in the real firearm.
Take the magazine out from the replica, press the button on the right side of the gun, above the trigger which
allows to release the slide disassembly latch on the other side.
After turning the latch pull the slide forward and get access to the hop up adjustment, which is situated under the slide.
Hop up chamber:
to get to the chamber first take out the return spring and its guide.
To do that, you have to rise the external barrel a bit.
After taking the return mechanism out remove the external barrel and the hop up chamber.
To take the barrels apart remove one pin and than slide the inner barrel and the chamber out of the external barrel.
The chamber is made from two halves screwed together with a Phillips screw.
Before unscrewing it remove the plastic part which is responsible for holding the barrel.
After stripping the chamber you get access to the hop up bucking and the inner barrel.
The black bucking used in the replica is typical for GBB replicas.
It is of medium hardness and has a standard spinning nub.
Inner barrel:
brass inner barrel is 115 x 6,05mm. in diameter, has an engraver manufacturer's logo and the Air Cushion system.
It works by having groves at both ends of the barrel.
The groves at the entering end are meant to create an air cushion around the bb to minimize its contact with the walls of the barrel.
The groves at the exiting end, Air Relief Divergence are to stabilize the bbs trajectory by removing excess gas before the bb leaves the barrel.
In theory, the whole system is to improve accuracy and repeatability of shots.
Pneumatic system:
the nozzle, the guide and the blow back system are made of plastic and metal.
To get to them unscrew a single screw situated underneath the slide and remove the safety switch by unscrewing the pressure screw in the said switch.
Be careful not to loose the positioning mushroom which has a tendency of popping out during disassembly.
Trigger group:
the trigger and the trigger group have been inserted into a two part housing.
To get to them disassemble the slide latch by turning it up and pulling it to the side.
Next take off the plastic panels, the magazine release button and the trigger pin together with the trigger.
Next remove two pins from the pistol grip and pull the trigger group from the frame.
Next unscrew three Phillips screws and split the housing in two.
This gives you access to the all the parts of the trigger and the trigger group.
The design makes it easy to get this part dirty with sand therefore cleaning it will become a necessity sooner or later.
Butting it back together can be a bit of a hustle because of the various springs, but this is typical for all Beretta replicas.
Lenght: 220mm.
Weight: 915gr, with magazine.
